“I take it you heard too.” Napko said, turning her husband so she could kiss him. Maybe this would shut up the reporters.

Reporter 1: Is the boy that got shot the Ishimaru clone?

Reporter 2: No! I heard it was a ghost inhabiting a human body specifically created for them.

Reporter 3: Were they shot with a bullet that doesn’t actually kill people, but instead forcefully bond them with alien life forms?

Reporter 4: The kid’s a time traveller from the year 1723! Admit it!

He stays away from the main point of focus, quietly scanning the surroundings for the presence of police or medical staff.

*There are a few ambulances coming down the street. No cops yet.*

“The clone and myself.” Kamiko replies, putting away her gear. “I question why I even bother to stick with any of you imbeciles. This hiding out is shameful when I could be back in Japan restoring my family’s name!”

You mean the family name that the vengeance weirdos obliterated when they revealed you worked with Junko Enoshima and Maverick Storm?

That isn’t something you bounce back from, princess. No matter how charismatic you are.

“Thank you anyways.” Sora smieled. “Another anomaly for you, Akio. Though you said you did *die* before, so im not sure it counts.”

Speaking of that though… Alter Ego… is there anyone online with a story like mine? Someone who can remember other timelines?

The closest match I can find is a post on the website 4chan’s “/x/” board, for paranormal subjects… a post from a user designated “Conduit” claims that they are the child of persons from two different universes, and that they sometimes travel timelines, often merging with the version of themselves  that lives in said timeline. This mostly just altered the shade of their eyes or hair slightly, but in one case, they merged with a version of themselves that was blinded in the left eye after having it slashed at a bar fight. They retained sight in the eye, but also gained the scar. “Conduit” claimed that their story was completely true, however most of the replies from other users seem to be either belittling them for this claim, praising the inventiveness of their story and the dedication to acting that it was real… except for one other user, designated “ladyslayer69″, who claims to have a similar situation, except they claim to not have any scars or similar major distinguishing features.
