He lets a proud half-smile slip onto his face without even thinking twice about it. It just feels nice to be helpful again. “Correct. You understand pretty quickly, you know?”

Soetsu: I do?

“Thank you. I’d rather arrive sooner than later.” He braces himself for the not-so-pleasant sensation, although he got used to it during the past several months.

*The pair vanish from Invidia’s base, and reappear less than a block away from the chaos*

Stephen: Like Cate said… try not to kill any of the Hope’s Peak people. You’ll get your chance in the future to hit them hard, but killing any of them now will throw a wrench into that. *He teleports away.*

Kamiko watches as he leaves before turning back to her ‘companions’ with a furious expression. “How did he get in here without any of us noticing?”

Probably because the kid is the only competent one out of our merry little band.

Asuka is sitting in a semi-hidden corner, a book in her hands. It’s not a large book, some light novel about magical girls, but she still readsit slowly, taking a while to move pages.

*Because the character I want to send Asuka’s way is currently busy, I will instead hijack the post with a cutaway.*

*In the back of a crowded restaurant, three figures talk, with a device of unknown origin resting on the table between them.*

So… this is from the ship you came in, then.

Yeah. Ouma stripped and sold what he could in order to get the warehouse and a lot of his stuff. I did, however, snag this, because it was a part I didn’t recognise. And despite the ship we went on being, well, fucking massive, I still recognised most of the parts, or at least had an idea of what function they served. This thing though…

Momota-kun and I… as well as Tojo-san, when she was still around… asked a lot of people about it, but nobody recognised it.

Hmm… I’ll pour through what I can on the scattered notes Future Foundation had on space travel… which isn’t much, certainly nothing practical, but if a similar blueprint for the item shows up, that’ll be useful.

In the meantime, however, I do have a potential job for the two of you…

We’re listening.
