After gathering his things from the library, Damian couldn’t help but sit and recount the past months. After Invidia’s killing game failed, any chances of finding despairs went from little to none at all, with several of his classmates leaving the academy among others. So he tried to focus his efforts on finding either Invidia or Headmaster Naegi. No luck there either, no matter how much of his health he risked in the process. It got to the point Sora had to be placed nearby him almost 24/7 as well as the current Headmaster stopping anymore of his searches or risk expulsion.

With nothing accomplished to keep his home safe, his guilt only grew. The deaths? Him. The headmaster missing? Him too. The recent prison break and slaughter of nearly everyone? It was him, Damian! …references aside, it was all him because of his actions coming here in the first place as well as him being weak. All he could do was train and study, train and study, train and study with occasional breath of fresh air to do other things at Sora’s insistence to “stop shutting himself off from everyone.” The logical side of him knew she was right, yet he kept denying it all the same.

Speaking of which… he should probably find her and maybe see what either Jataro or Nagisa were up to. Reluctantly he pulls out his phone to call his friends. Least if Sora found him he’d have an excuse this time.

*Jataro’s phone rings as he and the others are out.* Oh! It’s Damian! I’ll catch up with you guys later!

All right!

“If that’s your decision I’m fine with it, but I will say this, do we really need to take that risk anymore? But regardless, if you’d like I could assign some Nerada to monitor him, if he steps out of line they can pop his heart open before things get out of hand.” -Cassia

Cate: That’s a good idea.

*The newer three members of Invidia walk in, and Cate explains to them the solution they’ve come up with.*

Cate: Anyone have any objections or advice?

Hi, zonbie, what’s so bad about Hope’s Peak?

I… Hope’s Peak…

Hnn… *He falls down, clutching his head*

Aw, shit…

Shouldn’t we be doing something?

He’ll be OK. He just… does this whenever people mention… the school. Or namedrops any of the survivors of his killing game…

*Just like Iruma said, within a minute, Makoto’s back up, and continues examining his mask, as if his… episode, for lack of a better term, had never happened.*

“Another from an ‘alternate universe.’ How cute.”

Seeing Shinguji struggle, Kamiko shocks him again before slowly pressing her heel down on his knee. “Your focus is on me now scum. You’re going to answer my questions or you loose your ability to walk. Understand?”

*Shinguji simply stares her in the eyes*
